Preheat oven to 350 deg. Grease and flour two deep 8" layer cake pans. Cream shortening and sugar. Stir in eggs until well mixed. Sift together three times the flour, cornstarch, salt and baking powder, and add alternately with milk and vanilla mixture. | |||
