1/2 c. water                             1 tsp. cinnamon
                                              1 tsp. allspice

                                              1 c. finely chopped walnuts
                                              1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
                                              2 c. grated apples
                                              1 tbsp. vanilla
