Bisquick Fruit Shortcake

2 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. cream (or 1/2 c. milk + 4 tbsp. melted butter)
2 tbsp. sugar

Combine all to make dough. Pat out and cut with 2" cutter_ or larger. Bake on greased cookie sheets (line sheets with foil and grease with butter, or put butter on foil and heat in oven until melted - dip shortcakes into butter and turn over, placing 2" apart on cookie sheets). Bake at 450 deg. 15-20 minutes. Split, butter, fill and top with fruit.

Makes 6 shortcakes.

For one large shortcake, pat out 1/2 of dough in round 8" greased pan. Dot with butter. Pat out rest of dough and place on top. Bake at 450 deg. 15-20 minutes.
