1 c. sifted flour 1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs
Preheat oven to 425 deg.
Beat with mixer all ingredients just until smooth. Pour into well-greased deep muffin pans (3/4 full) or oven-glass cups (1/2 full).
Bake 35-45 minutes until golden brown.
Serve immediately.
Makes 5 to 9 popovers, depending on size of cup.
