1 tbsp. vegetable Oil 1-1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. water 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 beaten egg 1-1/2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. almond extract 2 tsp. vanilla
Combine vegetable Oil, sugar and water. Add egg and almond extract. Stir in oats, salt, baking powder and flour. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet which has been lined with foil and the foil is well buttered.
Bake at 350 deg. for 15-18 minutes or until delicately browned.
